The Weeknd and Lily Rose-Depp, daughter of Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis, will star in the streaming service’s upcoming series The Idol. The mystery says that the show comes “from the debilitated and bent personalities” of Sam Levinson, Happiness’ maker, and The Weeknd, and vows to tell “the sleaziest story in all of Hollywood.” The series follows a female pop vocalist (Depp) who begins a sentiment with a L.A. club proprietor turned secret clique pioneer (The Weeknd).
