Snoop Dogg Cusses Out Bill Gates & Microsoft After Xbox Server Goes Down

Snoop Dogg takes gaming seriously. So seriously, in fact, he was seemingly furious after his Xbox server went down and interrupted his leisure time.

On Tuesday (April 14), the Doggfather chewed out Microsoft billionaire Bill Gates, Gates’ company itself and EA Sports while referencing the currentcoronavirus pandemic that’s keeping California residents in their homes.

“EA Sports, y’all muthafuckin’ server is down!” he says in the clip. “Get that shit back up, we trying to play. Bunch of muthafuckas at home that’s locked and loaded right now, FIX THIS SHIT! Bill Gates, Microsoft, whoever the fuck. All these muthafuckin’ bullshit ass vaccines y’all trying to give us… fix the muthafuckin’ video game. Now!”

He added in the caption, “@microsoft @thisisbillgates @eamaddennfl hurrrrr up n fix this shit.” Magically, the server was up and running less than 30 minutes later, prompting Snoop to issue a “thank u.”

COVID-19: Kwara Govt debunks claims of amala as cure for CONVID 19

The Kwara Government has dismissed claims across the state suggesting that a local delicacy of yam flour, popularly called ‘Amala’, cures Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Dr Abubakar Ayinla, the Permanent Secretary, state Ministry of Health, dismissed the claims on Tuesday in Ilorin during the daily routine meetings of the Medical Team of the Kwara COVID-19 Technical Committee in the state.

Ayinla said that the state government has set up the Risk Communication teams, among others, to manage rumours and fake news circulating as regards COVID-19 in the state.

He explained that the Risk Communication teams were set up to allay fears of misconception, while reiterating that COVID-19 has no cure for now and that amala cannot cure it.

Ayinla said that the confirmed patients with COVID-19 at the Sobi Isolation Centre were faring well, adding that the state government is caring for their necessary needs.

Also speaking, Dr Michael Oguntoye, the Director Primary Health Care at the Ministry of Health, explained that the state presently has three COVID-19 isolation centres across the state. According to him, the Sobi Isolation Centre currently has 300 bed space for different levels of care as well as the intensive care unit together with high risk unit. The other Isolation centres, he said, included the Hajj Transit Camp which has been turned to an Isolation centre and establishment of another Isolation camp at Offa. Oguntoye also said the state had acquired additional two ventilators to cater for any eventuality.

‘Haaland is attractive for any club’ – Real Madrid links for Borussia Dortmund striker no surprise to Karanka

‘Haaland is attractive for any club’ – Real Madrid links for Borussia Dortmund striker no surprise to Karanka

Erling Haaland “is attractive for any club”, admits Aitor Karanka, with the former Real Madridplayer and coach not surprised to see the exciting Borussia Dortmund striker sparking talk of interest from Santiago Bernabeu.

The Norwegian youngster only secured a switch to Germanyduring the winter transfer window. His exploits at Red Bull Salzburg had brought him onto the radar of leading sides across Europe, with a bright start to life at Dortmund seeing him reach the 40-goal mark for 2019-20.

The 19-year-old is now said to be a top target for Real, with the Blancos forever in the market for the very best proven and potential talent. Haaland ticks both of those boxes and could go on to become another ‘Galactico’in the Spanish capital.

Madrid are, however, not the only side keeping a close eye on his development, with a scramble likely to be sparked if another exit door were to open.

Karanka admits that Haaland would be an attractive option for any team looking to bring added firepower into their respective ranks, with his former employers at the Bernabeu falling into that category.

He told EFE of Haaland: “He is a young striker and he scores goals. It is clear that he has everything and even more at Borussia Dortmund.

“He is no longer a player who comes from playing in a minor league. He arrived at Dortmund and scored important goals, both in the league and the Champions League, and I think what makes him even more attractive is his price tag.

“I think that any big club is eager to bring in players who score goals. When there is a young player, with goals and at that price, which I think is not very high either, he is attractive for any club.”

Dortmund required just €20 million (£17m/$22m) to land Haaland in January, with a relatively low release clause triggered in his contract at Salzburg.

His reputation and price tag has continued to rise since then and while Karanka feels that he could be acquired in another bargain agreement, Dortmund – who have made it clear that they have no intention of sanctioning a sale– can be expected to demand big money for a prized asset

‘I would bring Coutinho back to Liverpool in a heartbeat’ – Reds urged to re-sign ‘creative genius’

‘I would bring Coutinho back to Liverpool in a heartbeat’ – Reds urged to re-sign ‘creative genius’

Philippe Coutinho is a “creative genius”, according to Phil Thompson, who would like to see the Barcelona playmaker retrace his steps in the summer transfer window.

Coutinho established himself as one of the finest young players in Europe during his five-year spell at Anfield and became the second most expensive player in the world when Barca snapped him up for €160 million (£139m/$175m) in January 2018.

The 27-year-old has, however, been unable to transfer his impressive form from the Premier League to La Liga, despite helping the Blaugrana retain their Spanish crown during his first full season at Camp Nou.

The Brazil international struggled to stand out in a squad brimming with world-class players, and Barca ultimately decided to loan him out to Bayern for the 2019-20 campaign.

Coutinho has contributed nine goals and eight assists from 32 appearances across all competitions, and the German giants have the option to sign him permanently when the transfer market reopens.

However, the mercurial playmaker is also being tipped to return to Englandwith Chelsea and Arsenal reportedly leading the chase for his signature.

Liverpool have also been credited with an interest in their former talisman, and Thompson says he would sanction such a move “in a heartbeat” if he was in charge.

“They are probably looking at that creative midfield player. Would you take Coutinho back? I would, in a heartbeat,” the legendary ex-Reds defender told Sky Sports.

“I think he’s a creative genius. You look back at his Liverpool career and he was absolutely terrific. He’s not too old and I still think he could come back.

It probably won’t happen but it’s that creative player just off the front three that would probably just tip the balance.”

Thompson went on to express his belief that Liverpool could also benefit from adding another left-back to their ranks to provide cover for Andrew Robertson, who continues to be stretched to the limit as one of the first names on Jurgen Klopp’s team sheet every week.

“There’s some players who probably want to be playing more football who will move on this summer,” he added. “Then you think about who could strengthen our core squad. I’d like to see a left-back come in.

“That would help out Andy Robertson if he misses a few games because there’s such a toll on him at the minute.

Lewandowski ‘deal was done’ for Genoa before president ‘pulled the plug’

Lewandowski ‘deal was done’ for Genoa before president ‘pulled the plug’

The Bayern striker was close to an Italian transfer when he was developing as player before settling on Signal Iduna Park

Robert Lewandowski was close to joining Serie A club Genoa before ultimately making the move to Borussia Dortmund.

The Poland international was in high demand after excelling for Lech Poznan between 2008-10 with Genoa agreeing a deal to sign the centre forward pending a medical.

But, according to former Genoa sporting director Stefano Capozucca, the club’s president Enrico Preziosi decided to cancel Lewandowski’s transfer, paving the way for a Bundesliga move

Arsenal’s academy
Lewandowski went on to become one of best strikers in the world at Dortmund, before eventually joining Bayern Munich – scoring 303 goals at 10 seasons across both clubs.

“The deal was done for Lewandowski in 2010,” Capozucca told Radio Sportiva.

At Bayern and Dortmund, Lewandowski has won seven Bundesliga titles and three DFB-Pokal Cups – but hasn’t managed to win a coveted Champions League trophy.

The 31-year-old was also enjoying arguably his best personal campaign before the coronavirus halted football, scoring an incredible 39 goals in 33 games for Bayern.

His former team-mate at Dortmund, Ilkay Gundogan, believes Lewandowski is the best centre forward in the world currently.

“It was a huge joy to play with him. He has improved again and again,” Gundogan told DAZN.

“Technically he was always great, now he also has that cool head. The way he scored the goals is phenomenal.

“For me he is the best and most complete striker in the world at the moment.”

Genoa didn’t make the same mistake with a prolific Polish striker next time around however, signing Lewandowski’s compatriot Krzysztof Piatek in 2018 for €4 million before selling him on to Milan for €30m (£26m/$33m) six months later.

Capozucca wasn’t completely negative about Preziosi’s tenure at Genoa, insisting the president made a smart decision to sign Argentine striker Diego Milito.

Milito joined Genoa from Racing Club in his native Argentina, before famously going on to play a crucial role in Inter‘s treble winning season in 2009-10.

“The lad joined Genoa for a couple of lire and became a great champion years later,” Capozucca said
