Disney+ announced today that Marvel Studios’ “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” will be available to stream on the service beginning August 2. Watch the TV promo and prepare for the debut of our favorite characters on the streaming service.

Our favorite misfits are settling into life on Knowhere in Marvel Studios’ “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.” But it’s not long before the echoes of Rocket’s violent past upend their lives. Peter Quill, still mourning from Gamora’s death, must unite his crew around him on a perilous quest to save Rocket’s life—a mission that, if not completed successfully, may spell the end of the Guardians as we know them.

Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldaa, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Vin Diesel as Groot and Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Sean Gunn, Chukwudi Iwuji, Will Poulter, and Maria Bakalova star in the film. James Gunn directed the film and also wrote the screenplay. Kevin Feige produces, alongside executive producers Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Nikolas Korda, Sara Smith, and Simon Hatt.

On August 2, Marvel Studios’ “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” will be released exclusively on Disney+, joining the previous two films in the trilogy, “Guardians of the Galaxy” and “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.”
