Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ Kris Jenner Shares The Real Reason The Show Will End
Keeping Up with the Kardashians fans learned last month (yes, it was only last month!) that the long-running reality show would be coming to an end in 2021.
As with everything Kardashian-related, there was plenty of speculation as to why time was being called on KUWTK, and the family swiftly denied any allegations that multiple members had threatened to quit.
There were probably multiple factors at play, factors we took a deep dive into, and now Kris Jenner has talked more about one those things in an interview with WWD.
“When we first started, there was no Instagram or Snapchat or other social media platforms. The world has changed,” she explained.
“Now there are so many, the viewer doesn’t have to wait three or four months to see an episode. We can give them all of the information anyone would ever want to know in real time.
“Social media is the fastest and most controlled way to get the message out. The consumer gets to see the products the girls are working on in real time, and they know we’re going to get it out the door pretty quickly. The girls want them to be part of the journey to keep them engaged.”
