BREAKING : Naira Marley in court over Abuja concert (Full Gist Inside)
Nigerian artiste, Azeez Fashola, aka Naira Marley, has been taken to the Lagos State Special Offences Court at Ikeja.
According to reports, the police had filed charges against him for violating the COVID-19order banning interstate travels earlier put in place to curb the spread of coronavirus.
Naira Marley was said to have left Lagos for the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, for a concert on Saturday, July 13 at the Jabi Lake Mall, which drew public outrage.
After this went public, the government shut down the mall and stopped the operation of the airline whose plane was chartered from Lagos to Abuja.
