Known for his comic roles in Nollywood films, Odera Nwobu was also a popular digital content creator. His acting credits include roles in the movies Goat Lover and Goat Lover 2, both released in 2011. He created content under the name “Joseph The Dreamer” and used the social media handle “Obelle Dimkpa 1 Na Awka” on Instagram.
Personal Life and Tragedies
- Auto Accident: In June 2025, Nwobu was reportedly the sole survivor of a ghastly motor accident on the Lagos Expressway that claimed the lives of all other occupants of the vehicle.
- Cause of Death: He had high blood pressure and was reportedly in South Africa to shoot content for a brand he had signed as an ambassador when he passed away. He was last seen in a video at a nightclub, just hours before his death was announced.
